Kinesiology Courses
The Kinesiology College of SA offers government accredited kinesiology practitioner training courses and is the only training organisation in South Australia which has this status.
There are 3 levels of training offered at the college which specialises in two kinesiology modalities, Touch For Health and Neuro-Linguistic Kinesiology. All courses are fully accredited with the Australian Kinesiology Association. Options 3 and 4 are nationally recognised VETAB and Austudy approved courses. This means that the Diploma and Certificate 1V courses have been independently evaluated and found to meet the strict standards set by government and health industry representatives.
You can choose which option you wish to participate in and it is possible to upgrade to another option at any time if a place is available. It takes 12 months to become an accredited kinesiology practitioner with the Australian Kinesiology Association which means that you can commence practising as a kinesiologist while continuing your training. Much of your study can be done at home in your own time using well organised workbooks. There are no final exams and assessment of competency is continuous.
Each training option is designed for a person who is working full-time so that you can gradually change your career if that is your intention. There are no pre-requisites for the courses, however, you will need to have access to the Internet and own a massage table.
Tuition Fees and Enrolment Procedure
The cost of tuition is described with an explanation of each option and its topics in the college prospectus.
